EcoWire is a plastic baling wire, specially developed for automatic horizontal balers in the recycling and waste-to-energy sector. Instead of steel, a plastic wire is used to secure bales tightly under high tension. Thanks to its plastic composition, baled material can go directly into the incinerator without the need to remove metal residues first.
Our plastic wire is used for materials such as RDF (Refuse-Derived Fuel), SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel), biomass and plastics. The wire combines high tensile strength with controlled elongation, ensuring knots hold securely and bales remain stable during transport or storage.
Metalwire supplies EcoWire in two versions: the standard EcoWire and R-EcoWire, produced from almost 100% recycled material. Both are delivered on reusable steel reels of [dimension], ready for immediate use in your baling line.
